Recipe: Canine Christmas Muffins
Makes 16 festive Muffins
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2¾ cups / 650 ml water
- ¼ cup /50 ml unsweetened applesauce
- ⅛ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- ½ cup / 50 g chopped peanuts
- 4 cups / 600 g whole-wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
How to
- Preheat oven to 350º F / 175º C
- Mix together wet ingredients, set aside
- Mix together dry ingredients
- Add wet ingredients to the dry ones, mix well
- Spoon into greased muffin tin, filling each cup two-thirds full
- Bake for 35 minutes, store in sealed container
