Christmas Dinner
If you want your furry friend to participate in your Christmas dinner, there are just some rules to follow:
- Cut off some meat – especially the liver – prior to seasoning and cooking the turkey.
- Do not feed cooked bones and gravy!
- Fish: Serve raw, cooked or from a tin, but avoid smoked products.
- Vegetables: Dogs can stomach almost any winter vegetables.
- Walnuts are very healthy for dogs. However, the shell and skin are toxic, so you would have to peel them.
- Herbs are used as remedies in dogs. They usual amount should not exceed 1 g per 10 kg body weight.
- Cooked and peeled! potatoes are a super tasty side dish.
Enjoy the day and exercise your dog before spending your time in the kitchen.
